关于城市社区关怀 About City Care Community Service
城市社区关怀是一个以关怀社区的需要为己任的独立且超宗派的机构。我们所关怀的对象是不分种族肤色、宗教和年龄。城市社区关怀成立的目的是為了滿足社會公益與福利服務輸送，特别是社區弱勢人口群的關懷與服務上。城市社区关怀在未成立之前，已经思考如下問題：我們為何要成立這個城市社区关怀？是為名吗？是為利吗？還是真心為了服務社區弱勢人勢人口群？我们的信念与理想是透过城市社区关怀的成立好讓自己的社區變的更溫馨、更有人情味。有了這樣強烈而熱情的動機後，接下來要考慮的就是透過何種方式讓自己的社區更溫馨及更有人情味。举办“希望的种子”这个活动只是一个开始。为了更能照顾社会上不同年龄层的需要，因此城市社区关怀一共有五个部门。
City Care Community Service (CCCS) is an independent organization that focuses on community service and assumes it as a responsibility in spite of religions. We oversee everyone’s difference in colour, religion and age. The aim of CCCS is to meet the need of the society in term of public welfare services, especially those who belong to the lower class of the society. Before the founding of CCS, we have thought about the following questions: Why do we need to establish CCCS? Is it for fame? For our own benefit? Or do we truly care about those who are in the lower class of society. We hope and believe that CCCS could be the channel of warmth and humanity in the society. With such a passionate intention, what comes next is how are we going to bring warmth and humanity into the society. Organising “Seed of Hope” is just a start. In order to take care of the needs of different age ranges, CCCS has 5 departments.

第一就是社区福利部－这个部门主要是帮助在社会上有需要和清苦的人士。目前我们透过这个事工帮助了好几个家庭，并且其中也有我们的友族朋友。
The first is Community Welfare department – This department is mainly helping the poor and needy in the society. To this date, this department had helped a few families and they are of various races.
第二是我们的乐龄关怀部－这个部门主要是帮助孤独老人和所有在心灵，身体上有需要的老人家。今天我们的社会里有好多的老人大都活在寂寞，无助，被遗忘里。我们在想我们可以为他们做什么。因此我们成立乐这个部门来帮助有需要的老人家。到目前为止，我们这个部门已经有22位老人家受益了。
特别在最近，我们在伦乐（lundu）的海边度假村举办了乐龄欢乐营（欢喜就好）我们的目的乃是要为老人家制造一个开心和团契的环境。我们也会在当天为他们庆祝生日。
Second is Elderly Care Services – This department is mainly helping the elders who are lonely emotionally and physically. There are many elders who are lonely, helpless and forgotten in the society. We are thinking what can we offer them. Thus, we established this department to help all the needy elders. Until now, this department had benefited 22 elders.
Just a few weeks ago, we held an elderly camp (It’s all about Happiness) at a resort in Lundu. Our aim is to create a happy atmosphere and communicate with the elders. We also celebrated birthday for them.
第三是我们的校园事工（S.O.S ministry）这个事工主要要帮助的对象是在求学中的青少年。今天有许多青少年在学校常有违规的行为，而这致使学校非常头痛。而且在我国，我们的青少年的犯罪率每年都极速的上升。除此之外，今天的黑社会也在利用青少年对物质享受的欲望来帮助他们贩卖毒品。我们的工作就是要来帮助这一些行差踏错的青少年，并使用适当的教材来教导他们，使他们的生命可以被重新改造。我们也供应一个平台使时下的年轻人可以有自己的发挥舞台。我们也提供他们在学业上的资助，包括供应校服，课本簿子，书包等。。
Thirdly, it’s our Campus Ministry (S.O.S Ministry) This ministry is aiming for the students who are in secondary school. There are many youngsters who are rebellious and brought troubles to the school. And in Malaysia, the rate of youth criminal are rising up rapidly. Other than that, gangsters also took hold of the youths by selling drugs in order to gain themselves some incomes. Our job is to help those youths are in the wrong path and help them with the suitable teaching materials to get their lives transformed. We also provide a stage for the youths to unleash their potential. We also provide help in their studies including school uniforms, textbooks, school bags etc.
第四是我们的品格教育事工－主要是针对十二岁以下的儿童进行品格教育的教导。学校教的是知识，但我们所教导的是做人做事的道理。我们透过非常创意的教学法来帮助小孩更能享受整个课程的教导。目前我们已有超过一百个小孩每个星期来到我们当中上品格教育课程。
Fourthly, Character Building Ministry – It is mainly providing character building teachings for the children who are under 12 years old. Schools teach about knowledge but we are teaching them the ways of life. The children will enjoy the syllabus that is taught creatively. Up till this date, we have more than 100 children who attend our weekly character building classes.
第五是我们的教育事工－主要是帮助贫苦家庭的学生，他们很想继续升学但是却缺乏经济的能力，我们将要设立一个教育基金来帮助他们。而且我们也和一个补习中心合作，为贫苦的学生制造更多的补习机会。
Lastly, it is Education Ministry – It mainly helps the students who came from a poor family. They might desire to continue their studies but the plan is terminated due to the limited financial capacity. We are going to establish an education fund to help them. We are also cooperating with a tuition center in order to give chances for the poor students to attend tuition classes.
感动的故事和见证 Touching stories and testimonies
目前我们已经帮助了好几个贫穷的家庭，每个月供应他们的日常所需，并按时派义工前往，关心他们。
Right now, we are helping a few needy families, providing their needs every month and scheduled our volunteers to visit them and care about them.
在这里，在我们所帮助的所有家庭当中，其中有一个家庭特别让我们感动。有一位年轻的妈妈，不知为何突然间晕倒在地。哪知这一倒，到现在她仍然躺在床上昏迷不醒，每天都需要人喂她进食和清理大小便。她的先生为了照顾她不能再去上班。这也导致他们的经济出现了问题，而两个年幼的孩子也不能照常去上学。我们开始去接触他们并了解他们的需要后，我们现在每个月都按时供应他们的日常所需，我们也供应患者一些药物并安排中医和义工去他们的家打扫。他们的两位孩子目前也已经安排入住救世军儿童之家，而且他们也已经上学了。
There is a story that touched us a lot. A young mother fainted out of all sudden without a reason. And who knew, until now, she is still lying on a bed unconsciously. She needs help for ingestion and cleaning her faeces daily. In order to take care of her, her husband quitted his job. This resulting in a financial crisis in the family and their 2 young children couldn’t go to school as usual. We started to get in touch with them and understood their needs. Right now, we provide their daily needs every month as well as the medicines for the patient. We also sent a Chinese doctor to help her and volunteers to help cleaning their house. Their children are now in Salvation Army Children’s Home and are also back to school.
我们有的并不多但是我们愿意尽我们所能去帮助那些真的需要我们帮助的人。因为我们认为我们可以给而不爱，但我们不能爱而不给。我们真的希望可以成为他们继续走下去的希望。「有付出才能傑出,有投入才能深入」、「有种才会有收」。城市社区关怀的座右铭：「找到一个需要，去满足一个需要;找到一个伤痛，去医治一个伤痛」。
We may not have much but we are willing to use what we have to help those who need it. Because we can give without loving but not love without giving. We really hope we can give them a reason to carry on with their hope. “Sowing before reaping”. The motto of City Care Community Service is: “Find a need and meet it; Find a hurt and heal it.”
